Our School Tour and Parent Conversation are valuable opportunities for us to get to know one another. To make the most of that time, we have answered the questions parents commonly ask about admissions, daily routines, transport, and school life. We encourage you to read through them before your visit so that our conversation can focus on what matters most—your child.
Getting Started
Our five-year journey is carefully designed for children between the ages of 3 and 8. Beginning at around 3 years of age allows children to experience every stage of development as it was thoughtfully planned, building a strong foundation for future learning.
Each level builds naturally on the one before it. Children who begin the journey from the start benefit from a consistent learning experience that develops confidence, independence, communication, and character over time.
At SOLIDBASE, we believe children learn best through meaningful experiences. Our child-centred, activity-based approach encourages children to explore, discover, ask questions, and learn at their own pace in a carefully prepared environment.
About the School Tour
We believe choosing a school is an important decision that should never be rushed. A School Tour gives you the opportunity to observe our learning environment, understand our philosophy, and decide whether SOLIDBASE is the right fit for your family.
You will experience the school as it begins each day. You will see children arriving, greeting one another, interacting with their facilitators and friends, participating in activities, and learning in a calm and engaging environment. You will also have the opportunity to ask questions and understand the SOLIDBASE philosophy.
Yes. We encourage children to visit with their parents so they can begin to experience the school environment.
Admission Process
Yes. Families are welcome to visit our school and begin the admission process at any time during the year.
If you are applying for a future academic year, you may submit your application whenever you’re ready. As places are limited and applications are received throughout the year, we encourage families to apply early so their application can be considered well in advance.
If you’re applying for the upcoming academic year, your application must be submitted before the published application deadline. Applications received before the deadline will be considered, and admission results will be announced on the published result date.

Begin by booking a School Tour. If you decide to continue after your School Tour and Parent Conversation, you may request an application form. Once the application fee is paid, we will send you the application form to complete and submit for reviewing by our team.
Applications for the upcoming academic year must be submitted on or before 25 January. Admission results are announced on 31 January each year.
Choosing your child’s first school is an important decision. We encourage every family to take a few days to reflect after their School Tour and Parent Conversation so they can make a thoughtful and informed choice.
Daily Life at SOLIDBASE
School begins at 8:45 AM each day.
- Level 1: 8:45 AM – 12:30 PM (Half-day)
- Levels 2 to 5: 8:45 AM – 2:50 PM
Children are encouraged to arrive by 8:20 AM so they can begin the day with free play and settle comfortably into their learning environment.
No. Level 1 children attend half-day school from 8:45 AM to 12:30 PM.
At around three years of age, children are gradually introduced to school life. A half-day programme provides the right balance, allowing them to settle comfortably while enjoying meaningful learning experiences without becoming overwhelmed.
Each Level is limited to 15 children.
Keeping class sizes small allows us to know every child well and provide a calm, supportive learning environment where every child feels valued.
We currently maintain a 9:1 student-to-facilitator ratio, with a long-term goal of reaching 6:1.
A low ratio allows our facilitators to spend more quality time with each child and respond to their individual developmental needs.
Yes. Individual attention is one of the cornerstones of the SOLIDBASE Experience.
Every child develops at their own pace. By keeping our classes small and maintaining a low student-to-facilitator ratio, our facilitators are able to understand each child’s strengths, interests, and areas where they may need additional guidance.
Each day is thoughtfully planned to balance learning, movement, exploration, creativity, and rest. Children participate in activities that encourage independence, communication, curiosity, and confidence while enjoying a calm and engaging learning environment.

School Transport
Yes. School transport is available for families within our service area. Availability depends on your location and route planning and will be confirmed during the admission process.
We carefully plan our transport routes so that the first child to be picked up reaches school within approximately 40 minutes.
We believe young children benefit from shorter journeys, giving them more energy for learning and more time to enjoy life beyond school.
Your child’s safety is our highest priority.
All our school vehicles are equipped with CCTV cameras and a real-time GPS vehicle tracking system. We monitor every journey, including the vehicle’s location and speed, to help ensure children travel safely to and from school.
Yes. Parents receive access to our vehicle tracking app, which allows them to view the vehicle’s real-time location. The app also sends notifications when the morning pick-up or afternoon drop-off journey begins, making it easy to know when the vehicle is on its way.
Technology helps us keep parents informed and gives families added peace of mind throughout the journey.
Every school vehicle is accompanied by either a teacher or a female attendant. They provide assistance whenever needed, and help ensure a safe and comfortable journey for every child.
Health & Everyday Care
There is no school uniform at SOLIDBASE.
Children should wear comfortable, season-appropriate clothing that allows them to move, explore, and participate freely in daily activities. We encourage parents to send children in clothes that are clean, freshly washed, and comfortable for active learning.
Yes. We encourage parents to send healthy snacks that support their child’s growth and wellbeing.
While we don’t completely prohibit occasional treats or packaged snacks, we believe in helping children develop healthy eating habits over time. Our goal is to teach children to make balanced food choices and enjoy treats responsibly, rather than through strict restrictions.
Yes. We maintain very high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the school.
Classrooms, learning materials, and toilets are cleaned and sanitised regularly. High-touch surfaces are disinfected every day using child-friendly, non-toxic, and eco-friendly cleaning products that are safe for young children.
A clean, healthy environment helps children learn, play, and explore with confidence.
If your child becomes unwell during the school day, our facilitators will care for them and monitor their condition.
If we feel your child should return home, we will contact the parent or emergency contact provided during admission and request that they collect your child as soon as possible.
Your child’s health, comfort, and wellbeing will always be our priority.
If someone other than a parent or authorised guardian will be collecting your child, please inform the school well in advance.
This allows our facilitators to make the necessary arrangements and ensures your child is safely handed over to the authorised person.
Yes. We expect children to be toilet trained before they begin school.
Starting school is an exciting milestone, and being toilet trained helps children feel more confident and independent as they take part in everyday school activities.
If your child is still developing this skill, please speak with us. We’re happy to discuss your child’s readiness and help you plan for a smooth start to school.
Children are expected to be toilet trained before joining SOLIDBASE. However, we understand that occasional incidents can happen.
If they do, our facilitators will handle the situation calmly, respectfully, and without making the child feel embarrassed.
It’s perfectly normal for some children to take time to settle into a new environment.
Our facilitators gently support each child by building trust, creating a sense of security, and helping them become comfortable through familiar routines and meaningful interactions. Most children gradually settle as they begin to feel safe and confident.
