We have designed our program to give you complete confidence in every aspect of your child’s experience; from health and safety; to ready-for-school curriculum, with the support of experienced facilitators. Equally important, our program follows the best ways, supported by research, to prepare kids for early childhood education and all the big steps ahead.
Signature practices
Our World at SOLIDBASE curriculum includes preschool Signature Practices that offer hands-on approaches to encourage the skills your child will need in foundational stage and beyond:
- Everyday Mathematics: Integrating numbers into real-life routines
- Cooking with Recipes: Creating in the kitchen to learn about counting, measuring, and fractions
- Daily Pre-Reading, Writing, Listening, and Speaking: Stories and literature to promote the understanding of the relationship between speech and print
- Writing Center: Access to a wide variety of writing tools, paper, and other materials to inspire an interest in writing, creating books, and more
- Science Laboratory: Hands-on opportunities to collect, examine, explore, and experiment with natural materials
- Learning Activities: Building and problem solving using science, technology, engineering, and math
- Woodworking: Real tools and materials to tinker, construct, and explore weight, balance, strength, and texture
we meet kids where they are around 3 years old.
Does SOLIDBASE accept applications for all Levels?
No! SOLIDBASE primarily accepts applications for Pre-Kindergarten. Joining from the beginning allows a child to seamlessly integrate into our school culture, fostering a sense of continuity and familiarity. This approach ensures that the unique ethos of SOLIDBASE remains intact, and children benefit from a consistent and supportive learning environment tailored to their developmental needs.
Is SOLIDBASE open all year for admission?
We do not accept applications throughout the year. For the upcoming academic year, the application deadline is February 28th annually. However, for subsequent academic years, applications will be accepted anytime of the year, as we grant admissions on a first-come, first-served basis. Does SOLIDBASE have an outdoor playground?
SOLIDBASE at Puduvayal has a unique combined indoor/outdoor playground located directly on-site at the school. The playground equipment is age-appropriate so that children of all ages can play outside each day.
What is SOLIDBASE's process for checking the background of the parents?
At SOLIDBASE, we do not operate under financial pressure to fill seats. Our commitment is to positively impact as many lives as possible, fostering meaningful change. We seek parents who share our vision – a child-first attitude and a willingness to embrace positive changes for the benefit of their child’s learning journey. Our focus is on collaborating with parents who align with SOLIDBASE’s values and are dedicated to instilling good habits and character, both in themselves and their children.
What is your policy regarding pictures/videos of my child(ren)?
The decision to allow for a child’s picture to be taken at a SOLIDBASE facility is at the discretion of the family. Some families allow pictures to be used strictly within the classroom (i.e. to label cubbies), some allow pictures to be used both internally and externally (i.e. for our website), and still others do not allow pictures of their children to be taken at any time – no exceptions. In any case, we will respect your rights and your decision.
